Software Development engineer in test
SST Software is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test who can create test plans and test cases to determine whether software/products function as written. Responsibilities will include helping design, implement, and execute test automation and infrastructure systems for finding and debugging functionality critical to our business and our customers. Responsible for following lifecycle of the software development process, interpret and report testing results to project team. Successful candidate will have the option to work out of our Stillwater, Tulsa or Oklahoma City, OK location.
Skills and responsibilities
Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in Software Development Engineer in Test role 1
Object-oriented design and coding skills
Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
Coding experience with automated testing frameworks, tools, services, and
Proven ability to clearly articulate technical challenges and solutions
Help add details to ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think
abstractly yet not lose sight of the day to day details
Work closely with Developers, other QA staff, Product Owners, and Support
Staff to ensure the quality of our software and systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
4+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
Server side development experience
Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
Experienced in Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Preferred experience with TFS or VSTS
