Syngenta and SST have partnered in the creation of Syngenta EagleView™, a custom spray data management system built upon the SST Summit Professional software system. It is used for logistical management between aerial applicators and ag retailers to better facilitate fungicide applications across the US. In addition, it improves communication between retailers, applicators and growers by giving all parties access to the same field data.

How It Works
•Field Boundary Mapping Geo-referenced field boundaries are digitized in Summit using the latest aerial images or mapped using Stratus and a GPS receiver, or imported as shapefiles.
•Data Synchronization Seamless data communication through the Internet between retailer and applicator.
•Scheduling & Product Ordering Retailer can place orders for a set of fields with product and application rates for a certain window of time.
•Status Reporting The Aerial Applicator accepts the order and begins the process. The retailer can see the status of the order at all times.
•Flight Plan Creation The Applicator can make a flight plan based on the number of fields, their location, their size, and the products to be used. Then he can print a series of routing maps and a load sheet.
•As-Applied Reporting When the spray order is completed, the applicator and the retailer have access to the as-applied data and maps.
•Decision-Support Analysis The as-applied map can be used with other layers of information to create advanced analysis products such as: Yield by Treatment, Yield by Hybrid/Variety, Yield by Soil Type, etc.
