New Summit Homepage
The new homepage is designed to act as a training tool to assist both new and existing users; the homepage is complete with a process-flow style diagram, a link to the SST Video Training library, SyncNow Relationships, and Summit Statistics.

Premium Services Added to Home Screen
The Premiuim Services section of Summit has been moved to the Home screen. Previously this section was located under the FarmRite button.
New Keying Infrastructure
The key portion of Summit has been updated to allow for more flexibility in differentiating functionality between Summit versions.
Copy and paste functionality is now available in the Summit key interface.
Nexrad Radar, Cloud Cover, Snow Depth, and several other weather layers now presented in a new section of Summit called “Weather”. The weather map displays a pushpin for each grower you have synced with the server. By clicking on the grower pushpin or selecting the grower, farm, or field from the right navigation pane, individual field boundaries for the selected grower will be loaded.

NEW - Common Field Boundaries (CFB) Now in Digitizer
In an effort to reduce duplication when entering new field boundaries, all boundaries that exist within an organization will be visible in the digitizer when adding new fields. As in the past, field boundaries in your Summit will be displayed in blue, now you will also see red field boundaries, these exist in other Summits within your organization. Instead of inadvertently collecting the same field twice within a company, we encourage you to select the boundary that your colleague has previously added.
New FarmRite “Yield by” Reports Added
In addition to reporting Yield by Hybrid, Yield by Soil Type and Yield by Soil Type and Hybrid, users can now create the following reports on a single grower or across growers.

Removed SST logo from all reports
All SST logos have been removed from all Summit reports.
Streaming of Bing Maps – In the Maps section of Summit, users can now choose to stream Bing Maps into the view.
Digitizing from Bing Maps – When digitizing field boundaries, Bing Maps with road labels is now an available option.
Precision Planting 20/20 Import
Planting data from the 20/20 monitor can now be imported. Be sure to only choose the field_map_Year_Month_Day.DAT file.
Case Yield Monitor Import Fix
In order to resolve several issues with Case yield data, SST has moved away from the FODM version of the format and has built a direct import for Case data.
FarmRite Reports – Yield by Nutrient Ranges

FarmRite Reports – “Yield by” Reports Across Growers
“Yield By” reports now extend above the Grower level. A user can now select multiple growers to include in the reports listed above plus the existing yield by hybrid and yield by soil type reports.
Find Overlapping Fields
In the Maps section, users can now right-click on a field name and select the new option “Find Overlapping Fields”. This feature will find any fields that intersect the selected fields and display them in a list box.
Combine Fields Distance Options Added
In the Combine Fields tab under the Edit Fields section, users now have new settings when searching for fields to combine. An option to only find fields that intersect the selected field has been added.

As-Applied data in SyncNow Logs
As-applied data that has synced from one user to another now shows up in the SyncNow Relationship logs.
Digitizer - Field Identification Tool
A new button has been added to the digitizer called “Field Identification.” When used, it will display the Grower/Farm/Field names for a selected polygon.
Importing field SHP File
Clipped-Out Fields Displayed-When an imported field SHP file is fully inside an existing field a message will notify the user that the imported file is completely contained within an existing field and cannot be imported. The user will then see a graphic of both the existing and new boundaries and can use the Field Identification tool to determine the name of the existing field.
Editing one SHP with another – After loading a new field SHP into the digitizer, a user can browse to a second SHP to edit the first. When the second file is loaded the user will be asked if he/she would like to add or remove the area of the second file to/from the first.
Yield Quick Map now includes Crop and Yield stats
When making a yield “Quick Map” from the Maps section the crop and yield statistics are now printed on the report.
Stratus – Loading Season and Date Filters
When loading data onto Stratus users can now limit data to a specific season and/or date range.
Stratus - Now Carries Summit Serial Number
New installations of Stratus will now carry the serial number of the Summit that is managing the Summit to Stratus relationship.
Stratus – Admin Rights Cascade
When administration rights of data are changed in Summit those changes will now be pushed down and adhered to by Stratus.
Logistics – Metric Units Accounted fix
Metric units are now being honored in the Logistics view.
Grower/Farm/Field Names in SHP export
When exporting field boundary SHP files new columns containing grower, farm and field have been added.
Report Settings Dialogue box resizable
The Summit Record Reports settings box can now be dynamically resized by the user.
VRA Recommendation Now Supported – The Logistics tools now support the ability to dispatch VRA recommendations. Users can right-click on product recs in the Maps section and send to a central dispatcher.
Previously Saved Recs Now Supported – Recommendation that were collected in the Records section of Summit or Stratus can now be sent to a dispatcher.
User-Defined Dispatch Teams – In the Logistics/Settings section users can now create and manage their own dispatching teams.
Field Management Changes
Road Maps – A check box is now available in the digitizer that overlays transparent road data over any digitizing source.
Streamlined Digitizer – The digitizing tools have been streamlined by removing the “position screen” step.
Switching Imagery in Digitizer – From within the digitizer the user can now switch between imagery sources.
Client to Grower – The name "Client" has been replaced with the word "Grower". In future updates Summit will more heavily emphasize the Grower level by adding in contact details and other information at this level.
Field Naming Pop-up – Grower, Farm, Field names and field information can now be added without leaving the digitizing screen. After a field is digitized a pop-up appears that allows for entry of this information and when closed the user can digitize the next field.
Deep Soil Sampling Now Available
5 Depths When Sampling – The soil sampling operation in Summit and Stratus now supports up to five depths to be sampled at each location. This functionality is also supported by the soil test lab submission API.
User-facing Functionality:
Logistics: A new interface has been added that combines the order management dashboard, the application plan dashboard, and the map selection screen into one interface. This new interface is designed with a dual monitor display in mind, so that the dashboard view can be displayed on the left screen and the map view is displayed on the right screen. As the user can select recommendations on either screen and the selection will be made on both views.
Importing multiple field boundaries from one shp file: Multiple fields contained in a single shape file can now be imported easily. If the DBF contains a field name column, the file will be broken apart by the changing names.
Digitize Fields within Yield, As-Applied, EC, Soil Test Import Wizards:When importing spatial data that doesn’t intersect with an existing field boundary, users can now launch the digitizer from within the import interface. This will load the imported file into the digitizer and the user can draw around the file and save the boundary.
As-Applied Import: Allows a user to change a matched value when importing.
Reports: Yield by Nutrient: Point and polygon intersection to calculate total amount of nutrient applied (across multiple operations) where a yield polygon exists.
